Final reflection (28 dec-31 dec)

I am doing this reflection earlier because i have a CCA camp during the period of 28 dec to 31 dec.

With regards to my experiences to my project, all i can say is that it was very interesting to find out about so many information about it.It certainly increased my knowledge.I feel that the blog was not useful as it was like I was writing to myself as no one will see it or reply to it. Writing out my learning objectives did help me a lot in my project as i knew what i had to do so it wouldn't be so confusing.Of course, I did learn a lot more in the project.

Week 8 reflection (21 dec-27 dec)

This week, all that i have to do now is to put my project into a disk and my task is finished.

Week 4 reflection (23 nov - 29 nov)

By now, I had just about wrapped up the task which I had started last week.I was able to conclude that most of the food that I ate belonged to the Breads,Cereal,Rice and Pasta.

Week 3 reflection (16 nov - 22 nov)

Now I have recently started on my tally of how many foods i ate each day from each group,I think that I should be able to complete it as soon as possible.

Week 2 reflection ( 9 nov - 15 nov )

Today i started to sort out my findings into the food groups that they belonged. The task was pretty easy and soon I had finished.

Week 1 reflection (2 nov - 8 nov)

I found out that there was a quite a lot of food groups and when they stack up they form a pyramid starting at the base with food items that you must consume more of as they are considered as healthy food and at the tip, are the food items that u must consume less of as they are unhealthy

Answer for that question

Eating a nutritional and healthy diet equals to getting enough energy that is provided in the food source that is needed for our body to improve, maintain our health, and to function properly.

Our body digests carbohydrates which are then broken down into individual glucose ( which is our body's main form of energy), fructose or galactose units.

Protein that we obtain in our food is also broken down into individual amino acids. Our body uses them to build and repair various parts of our body. Our body also needs protein for components of our immune system, hormones, nervous system and organs.

Another one of our body needs that we can get from our food is calcium. It keeps our bones and teeth strong.

Question that i plan to find answers about

1.Importance of a nutritional and healthy diet

Learning Targets for digestion and nutrition

My learning targets for this topic is to know how our nutrition affects our body and know food substances that are easily digested and food substances that harder to digest.I would also like to know how much nutrition a person needs for his/her body to function properly.
